The official events

Ceremonies, events, religious services… For two days, during the Feast of Saint Devote, many intense moments take place in its dedicated church (which was built on the site of the primitive oratory under the reign of Prince Charles III) in and around Monaco.

They show the Monegasque’s great fervour towards the patron saint. The same great fervour is also shown in Corsica.

On June 9, 2003, during his visit in Corsica on Devote's martyrdom 1700th anniversary, Prince Rainier III offered the Corsican a statue of Saint Devote, which is now situated in the Cathedral of the Canonica.
