Prince Rainier III and Prince Albert II went to the site of Mariana where Devote was martyred, Prince Rainier and Prince Albert who were accompanied by a number of personalities from the Principality, some Monegasque penitents and about two hundred pilgrims who especially came from the Principality of Monaco joined in a religious service in the Canonica and in the procession following the service among other things.
